A £1 charge per hod of coal is made if used.
Availability	The Cottage is let Saturday to Saturday throughout the year and normally available from 4pm on day of arrival till 10am on day of departure. Long weekends are also available by arrangement. Please call us on (day) 01506 845498 (eve 848868) to check availability.
Booking Arrangements	A deposit of 30% is required in advance of booking with balance required 6 weeks prior to arrival. In the event of cancellation, the deposit is not returnable. The balance will be refunded if the property can be re-let.
Linen	Bedlinen and towels for 2 people sharing are provided.
Electricity	Included in rent. Not metered.
Heating	The cottage is well insulated. Oil-fired Rayburn heats main living area. Additional electric heater in sunroom, radiator in bathroom. Emersion switch for extra hot water. Multi-fuel Morso stove.
Water	Freely available. We have our own water supply.
Cooking	Combination microwave oven (inc grill), 4 ring electric hob and Rayburn cooker
Sleeping Capacity	2 people - a gallery double bedroom is accessed by a spiral staircase from the lounge. There is a double futon in the sunroom, but please note that access to the bathroom is via the sunroom. A small surcharge is made where linen for the futon is required.
Kitchen and Lounge	Spacious, well-equipped dining kitchen. Open plan with pine panelled lounge - polished wooden floors throughout. Rayburn cooker, electric hob, combination microwave oven and fridge-freezer. CD player/radio. TV/VHS, videos and board games.
Sunroom	The sunroom has a good double futon, full curtains and space for a cot. Extensive views over Loch Torridon, Skye, Harris and Lewis. Bathroom off.
Bathroom	The bathroom has a traditional white suite comprising bath, hand held shower, W.C., basin and radiator with laundry facilities off.
Laundry	Washing machine, tumble drier, drying cupboard and drying rack
Porch	Spacious porch with hanging and storage area.
Food	Stores at either Applecross Village or Shieldaig are 20 mins drive. Lorna McIver at Kenmore (5 mins down the road Tel 01520 755367) sells excellent live prawns, lobster and crab. Two great places to eat are the Applecross Inn (01520 744262) and The Potting Shed (01520 744440) both just 20 mins drive away in Applecross Village.
Pets	By arrangement only. However, very friendly highland cattle often graze by the front door.

Telephone	There is no land line, but you can get reception with Vodafone and Orange.
Directions	By car, take the A9 to Inverness. Drive north over the Kessock Bridge. Follow signs to Ullapool. Turn off to the left just after Garve to Achnasheen and follows signs to Kinlochewe, Torridon and Shieldaig. After Shieldaig, take the first turning on the right to Applecross. Follow the road through Ardheslaig, Kenmore, Arrina and Fearnbeg before reaching Fearnmore - Weaver’s Cottage is the first cottage on the right. You can park outside the front door. NB the last part of your journey from Achnasheen is a single track with passing places. There are regular flights from Gatwick and Luton to Inverness which is only 2 hours drive from the cottage.
Petrol / Diesel	Nearest is in Applecross. We recommend you refuel in Inverness or Achnasheen.
